Website Deconstructor is a Chrome extension provided by Kallman Solutions. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the extension.

Information we collect

Website Deconstructor uses your email address for license registration, email verification, purchase restoration, and license management.

The extension also creates an installation identifier used to associate an installation with its license status.

Website inspection data

Website Deconstructor analyzes webpage elements that you choose to inspect, including information such as HTML structure, styles, layout, and element properties.

Inspection and analysis are performed locally in the extension. Inspected webpage content and generated element profiles are not sent to Kallman Solutions' backend.

Inspection session information may be stored locally on your device so the extension can restore your session.

Payments

Payments are processed using Stripe-hosted checkout. Website Deconstructor and Kallman Solutions do not directly collect or store your credit card number or card security code.

Payment-related information necessary to determine license status, such as successful purchases and refunds, may be processed by the licensing backend.

Email verification

Verification emails are delivered using Resend. Your email address is processed as necessary to send verification messages.

Backend services

Website Deconstructor uses Supabase for backend functionality related to licensing, registration, verification, purchase restoration, and license status.

Local storage

The extension may store information locally in Chrome, including an installation identifier, cached license information, inspection session data, selected element profiles, source-tab information, and interface preferences.

How information is used

Information handled by Website Deconstructor is used to provide the extension's functionality, manage licenses and purchases, verify users, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Kallman Solutions does not sell user data.

Data sharing

Information is shared with service providers only when necessary to operate Website Deconstructor, including Supabase for backend services, Stripe for payment processing, and Resend for email delivery.

Security and retention

Reasonable measures are used to protect information processed by Website Deconstructor and its backend services. Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for licensing, purchases, security, support, and operation of the service, subject to applicable legal requirements.
